 Abel is
another unfortunate soul. Someone threw him out in the streets so he
wandered around the city, digging through trash to find food.
Luckily, some good people found him and brought him to the shelter.
In the shelter he suffered from the paravirosis disease, but now he
is healed. He is a very pretty and strong young dog, in search of a
yard where he could run and play. Abel is a big baby deep inside and
we hope he will soon find a new and beautiful home. Abel was born on
18 October 2009. He is 57 centimeters tall. His chip number is

 Angie was found walking in the city alone and
frightened. Angie is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian-Croatian shepherd dog.
She is 63 centimeters tall and around one year old. She is very
friendly by nature. She is pretty timid when she meets new faces, but
she has an extremely good heart. She gets along with other dogs. Now
she spends her time in a stall in the shelter and we hope to find her
a new and beautiful home soon. |
 Arena is
a Rottweiler and German shepherd mix. She was abandoned in one field
where one of our volunteers found her. She is very smart and learns
fast. Arena will grow into a big dog
and she will need lots of space to walk and run. She was born on 25 May 2010. Her chip number is 322609. |

 Arka arrived in the shelter bitten but recovered well. She was born on the 7th of January 2009 and she is 30 cm high. She will be a dog of medium height. Arka is very timid, which is probably due to the trauma she experienced wondering around alone. Because of that she is very cautious when coming out of her little house. But when she sees that you want to cuddle her she will come out and wag her tail happily. Arka is very good with other dogs and she is very good natured.

 Azra is
a Schnautzer mix, and her color is almost white. Azra was also found
wandering through the city. She is extremely sweet and very social.
She has beautiful eyes and she approaches people with trust, despite
all the disappointments that she experienced in her life. Azra would
be a good addition to families with children. She gets along with
other dogs. Azra was born on 15 July 2008. She is 56 centimeters tall. Her chip number is 330460. |
 Badi is a leading actor of a very sada Christmas story. Dogs get abandoned even dring the Christmas holidays. He was lucky since his pat crossed with the member of our shelter. Badi was left at edge of the woods near the road to wait for the whole day if not for a couple of days. He was waiting for his owner to come back and would try to approach every car that was passing by although it was dangers and he was risking to get hit by the car. One of our members was passing by and noticed him waiting, after she passed him again after one hour she realized that he was abandoned and that he is waiting for “his” people to come back for him. She stopped the car and called him, he approached the car wagging his tail and jumping in the car happy that somebody stopped and called him. Badi is a very, very good and loveable dog; although hi is strong and big built he would be an excellent friend to whoever decides to give him home. Badi is young dog, born approx. in April 2009 and his shoulder height is 57 cm. |
Bafko got
his name because he grunts all the time. Apart from that, Bafko is a
beautiful dog, very smart, and extremely needy of love and attention.
He has a very good nature, he gets along with other dogs and he is
good with children. Bafko is neutered. He was born on 12 August 2009.
He is 52 centimeters tall. His chip number is 319765. |
 Beba is
a Labrador mix. People from the pound took her from the streets with
her 14 babies. Twelve babies survived, and two were adopted. Beba is
a very sweet being, very good-natured and calm. She likes to cuddle
and she was a very good mother to her puppies. She was born on 10
July 2008. She is 58 centimeters tall. Her chip number is 324638. |
 Beba Bjelov is a puppy
around 7 months old, born in Juny 2009. She was found on the streets of city.
She has very calm and good nature. As all babies, she is desirous of love and
attention so she cheerfully bounce around people. |
Ben is
probably a pit bull terrier. He is dark-brown, almost black colored.
He was brought to the shelter by a daughter in law of one lady who
would not keep him anymore because suddenly she decided she didn't
want a dog :-( Although her daughter in law and grandson begged her
not to give away their pet, the lady simply didn't want him in her
yard. So Ben ended up in the shelter, and his young human friend
cried a lot and was very sad. Ben is a very good dog. He has an
unusual blue-colored tongue. He was born on 21 April 2009. He is 51
centimeters tall. His chip number is 320763. |
 Beta is
one small playful girl, who doesn't care for anything else but play. She is
always active and she will always find space to run, even in just eight square
meters of her stall. Because of that it would make us very happy if Beta soon
found a new home where she would go for long walks and play happily with her
new friends. Beta's hair is longish, so she needs to be brushed regularly. She
was born on 20 January 2008. She is 55 centimeters tall. Her chip number is
185330. |
