 Abel is
another unfortunate soul. Someone threw him out in the streets so he
wandered around the city, digging through trash to find food.
Luckily, some good people found him and brought him to the shelter.
In the shelter he suffered from the paravirosis disease, but now he
is healed. He is a very pretty and strong young dog, in search of a
yard where he could run and play. Abel is a big baby deep inside and
we hope he will soon find a new and beautiful home. Abel was born on
18 October 2009. He is 57 centimeters tall. His chip number is
326983. |

Adina, Alfina, Alfi and Akira |
 Adina (f), Alfina (f), Alfi (m) and Akira (f) are
puppies. They probably have Schnautzer genes. They were left in a box
in front of the shelter when they were just barely two months old. So
young, and their fate already so sad. We hope they will survive,
because conditions in the shelter are not easy for little puppies.
They will be medium sized. On the photographs you can see how cute
they are. Each one of them has some mark on the chest or nose, some
have shorter hair, some are curly, all in all, real models.
Adina and Alfi have been adopted. |
 Ajlo is
a brother of Ptičica, Linali and Linalu. Their mother Lija found a
new home half a year ago. Linali and his sisters were pretty ill when
they arrived to the shelter, they lost all their hair, but now they
have new and beautiful hair. Ajlo has a very unusual light-yellow
colored hair with an unusual shade of gray. Ajlo was born on 15 March
2009. His chip number is 250825. He is 57 centimeters tall. |
   Aly, Ary and Alia are
three sisters who were born in the shelter just a few days after
their mother Areta was brought to the shelter. She was found
wandering and she was in pretty bad shape, hungry and full of fleas.
Since Areta has the looks of a Schnauzer, and since little ones also
have somewhat curly hair and look like Schnauzers, they also behave
like them – they like to explore, and are also very playful, dear
and friendly. Alia is somewhat shy, but she won't be like that for
long. They were born on 14 April 2011. They are vaccinated and
micro-chipped. |
 Andora is
an attractive dog with big and warm light-brown eyes. She is very
friendly and gentle. She gets along with other dogs, she likes human
contact and she is great with children. She was born in November
2010. She is vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed. She is 46
centimeters tall. We hope she will soon find a new home. |
 Angie II is
a mix of a guarding dog, about a year old and 70 cm
shoulder height. She wandered the streets of the city, but
fortunately not for long time because she looks pretty well groomed.
But, unfortunately she was not chipped and we can't find her owners.
We hope that she will soon get a new home with large yard to run and
play. Angie is a very good-natured and intelligent female. |
 Areta is
a Schnauzer who was found on the street when she was pregnant. When
she arrived to the shelter, she gave birth to 9 adorable little
puppies. She is extremely gentle, friendly and likes to cuddle. You
can tell by her warm eyes that she wants attention and love. She was
born on 17 June 2009. Her chip number is 434406. She is 54
centimeters tall. |
 Arsen was
thrown out from a moving car in the village Palinovec. The locals
unfortunately didn't see the license plate number. Arsen had wounds
on his ears, but they are slowly healing. He is incredibly friendly
and benevolent to people. He is a mixed breed with short white curly
hair and brown spots. He was born in February 2011. He is vaccinated
and micro-chipped. He is 57 centimeters tall. |
 Atila is
a Labrador mix who was found by a football pitch in one village after
allegedly wandering alone for one month. He arrived to the shelter
all exhausted, skinny, all bones sticking out, but he slowly
recovered and now he already happily walks in his yard. He has a good
nature, he gets along with other dogs, and he was born on 23
September 2010. He is 63 centimeters tall. He is vaccinated and
microchipped. |
 Azra is
a Schnautzer mix, and her color is almost white. Azra was also found
wandering through the city. She is extremely sweet and very social.
She has beautiful eyes and she approaches people with trust, despite
all the disappointments that she experienced in her life. Azra would
be a good addition to families with children. She gets along with
other dogs. Azra was born on 15 July 2008. She is 56 centimeters tall. Her chip number is 330460. |
Bafko got
his name because he grunts all the time. Apart from that, Bafko is a
beautiful dog, very smart, and extremely needy of love and attention.
He has a very good nature, he gets along with other dogs and he is
good with children. Bafko is neutered. He was born on 12 August 2009.
He is 52 centimeters tall. His chip number is 319765. |
